Welcome to the Relaxed Day at NGF26.
Curated specifically for those with SEND, families and friends and those interested in learning more about supporting SEND, the Relaxed Day will be a bit quieter, a bit more spaced out, and content is tailored to SEND activities, education and industry practice.
We will be running at a reduced capacity between 10:00am - 1:00pm (booking is essential)
Ear defenders and sensory aids will be available to borrow for the duration of your visit at NGF
More distance between stands and exhibitors
Many drop-in activities, stands and exhibitions are focused on accessibility and inclusion
Anyone booked into a talk or workshop in The View or The Auditorium will be able to access them without a Relaxed Day ticket – please have your ticket handy
Although not essential, feel free to rock your sunflower lanyard!
The Sunflower Snug Marquee will also be open between 10:00am – 4:00pm.

The first half of the day will be ticketed so we can support those who will really benefit from a reduced capacity, and we will have a limited number of spaces on the day.
Once signed in, wristbands will be allocated so you can access all areas of The Arena. You don't need to arrive at 10am - you can arrive any time from 10am. Please note, entry to The Arena after 1pm is not ticketed.
We all know that things get in the way of best laid plans, and although we hope to welcome you to NGF26, if you are no longer able to attend the Relaxed Day, please let us know so that we can make your tickets available again.

The afternoon will be open to everyone interested in engaging with Norwich Games Festival and learning more about how we can work on making the games industry and gaming community more inclusive.
In the Atrium, you’ll find a range of stands, activities and interactive exhibitions in our Charity, Community and Commercial Zone, Education Zone and Developer Zone. You’ll also find the Norwich Games Festival Information Desk (where you can borrow some ear defenders and sensory aids), and our Lead Partners, Norwich University of the Arts.

Enjoy learning to play tabletop games with the Norwich Games Convention in our new Gaming Lounge, which can be located in The Gallery.
Keep working your way through the building, to the Lower Gallery, and you’ll find Norwich Retro Gamers in The Game Cave, along with an exciting collection of consoles and computers dating back almost 40 years!
Outside on Upper Millennium Plain, the Realising Potential team at the Community Sports Foundation will be welcoming attendees with a range of fun physical activities and challenges.
